Terrorist Injured, M4 Rifle Recovered in Doda Encounter; Bloodstains and Rucksacks Seized
Doda August 14 : Security forces engaged in their fourth encounter in as many days, targeting hiding militants in the Patnitop area of Doda district on Tuesday night.
According to sources,a joint operation named “Operation Assar” was launched by the Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police in the Akar Forest near Patnitop. During the operation, one terrorist was injured, and an M4 rifle was recovered. Bloodstains found at the site suggest additional casualties, though details remain unconfirmed. Security personnel also seized three rucksacks from the area.
This recent encounter follows a series of operations against militant groups in the Anantnag, Kishtwar, and Udhampur districts since Saturday. (PTK)
