Iran-Israel Conflict: 90 Kashmiri Students Evacuated via Armenia Border
Srinagar, June 17: Amid the intensifying conflict between Iran and Israel, around 90 students from Kashmir who were studying in Iran have been safely evacuated through the Armenia border.
Nasir Khuehami, National Convenor of the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA), confirmed that between 90 to 95 Kashmiri students managed to cross into Armenia safely.
“We have been in contact with them, and they are expected to reach Yerevan, the Armenian capital, by around noon,” he said.
This evacuation comes in response to growing concerns over the safety of foreign nationals, especially students, following rising hostilities in the region.(KNO)
