Quiz competition held in Govt High School Awantipora

Awantipora: A quiz competition was held by the interns of institute of advanced studies in education at Government High School in South Kashmir’s Awantipora.

As per the official report, the Objective behind organizing the Quiz competition was to evaluate the knowledge of
the participants within academics as well as beyond academics and to make them familiar with the prospects of quizzes and the objectivity of the questions.

Moreover, “the students were motivated for critical thinking, and get into a habit of innovative learning.”

A statement issued by the management reads that, “The motive behind conducting such a quize programme was to help students identify what they know and what they don’t know so that students have a better idea of how well they are grasping the materials.”

It further reads that, “Students were grouped into three teams as A, B, C and then accordingly the teams was balanced by placing grade wise students in the respective groups, while Questions were posed in four rounds as per the practice in vogue.”

“At last Team A was declared winner of the quiz programmes, & Prizes were distributed among the participants of the winner team.”

It is pertinent to mention here that interns of institute of advanced studies in education are performing very well, and have been conducting extensive activities in schools, to reinforce the learning, among the blooming buds, under the able guidance of Dr. Seema Naaz (Principal).
