Police cop critically injured after militants attack police party in Khanyar
Srinagar, Sep 12 : A Sub-Inspector of Jammu and Kashmir police was on Sunday afternoon critically injured after suspected militants fired upon a police party in Khanyar area of Srinagar.
Official said that a Police Sub Inspector identified as Arshid Ahmad was injured after unknown gunmen fired upon a naka party near Police Station Khanyar.
“The injured policeman has been shifted to SMHS hospital Srinagar for treatment, where his condition is stated to be critical.
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent SMHS hospital, Farooq Jan told local news agency that the cop was critical and was being treated upon.
