ICDS, Mahila Shakti Kendra organise awareness programme in Tral

Tral: Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme in collaboration with Mahila Shakti Kendra Pulwama organised an awareness programme in Doodhkulan area of Lurgam village in Tral.
The programme was conducted with the motive to provide information regarding women welfare schemes.A good crowd of women participated in the programme.
On the occasion, CDPO Mehbooba Akhtar, Section Officer DPO, Abdul Rashid, Welfare Officer Mahila Shakti, Mansha Jan, and other officials of ICDS and Mahila Shakti Kendra were present.
The officials have said that participants were informed about the different beneficial schemes, and were given baby kits in the end of programme.
As per the ICDS official, similar type of programmes will be conducted in Zawistan and Narastan villages of Tral sub-district.
Meanwhile, Sarpanch Doodhkulan Lurgam, Abdul Rashid thanked the concerned officials for conducting this programme, and and requested them to conduct more such beneficial programmes in future.
