Flight operations to commence at Srinagar Airport as visibility improves: Director Airport
Srinagar, Feb 24 : Director of Srinagar International Airport has said that visibility has improved, and flight operations will commence soon, even as one flight was cancelled while rest were delayed due to low visibility in the morning.
Director Srinagar Airport, that visibility has improved to 1500 m and flight operations are commencing at Srinagar airport.
Earlier, an official said that due to low visibility all flights were delayed while flight number 267 was cancelled.
“The visibility at our airport is 800M. All flights are delayed. The flight operations will commence on improvement of visibility. GoFirst flight 267 is cancelled,” he said.
On Wednesday, all 41 flights scheduled for the day were cancelled due to snow accumulation on the runway and low visibility following snowfall in the Kashmir valley.
