Dr Harbakash greets people on ‘Khalsa Sajna Divas’ (Vaisakhi)

Urges devotees to pray for mankind

Srinagar : Senior leader, Spokesperson People’s Democratic Party and DDC member Tral Dr Harbakash Singh extended his greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Sajna Divas of Khalsa (commonly Known as Vaisakhi).

Putting the light on the importance on this auspicious day, Dr Singh said, “Vaisakhi has a great significance in the history of Sikhs as in year 1699 on 13 april Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji (10th Guru) created Khalsa Panth at Takht Sri Keshgarh Shaib Anandpur Shaib so, Sikhs celebrated it as Sajna Divas of Khalsa.”

He further said, “On this auspicious day i request to everyone remember mankind in your prayers”, Adding that, “We should celebrate these day as per religious fervor.”

Dr Singh showed his concern regarding unscheduled power cut in kashmir valley especially in Tral area during the holy month of Ramzan and On the Eve of Vaisakhi.
