Bring back non local 10+2 Lecturers from Ladakh UT: Mir tells JK Govt

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has sought transfer of 12+2 non local lecturers from Ladakh UT to J&K, urging the LG Manoj Sinha to address their grievances.Reacting to the issue of non local 10+2 Lecturers of J&K posted in Ladakh UT, the J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir has expressed anguish over the problems being faced by them (Lecturers) and urged the Govt to bring them them to J&K UT at right earnest citing the reason as their four year stay, besides many health issues confronting them.Mir said after the reorganization of the J&K, it was mandatory for JK Administration to effect the transfer of Lectures to J&K within a year, which has not happened due to the negligence of the education department, which has failed send the relievers to Ladakh UT, but that doesn’t mean that Lecturers of J&K who are posted their since 2017 would suffer for no fault of theirs’.I would urge upon the LG Manoj Sinha to look into the grievances of the non-local lecture posted in Ladakh UT to ensure that they were transferred back to J&K UT, G.A.Mir added and also emphasized the education department to resolve the matter without any further loss of time, as that, they (Lecturers) were faced with multiple problems.
