Army’s 19 RR conducts winter fun games

Anantnag: GADOL COB (19 RR) of Indian Army conducted Winter Fun Games with youth of the company AOR on Wednesday.

As per the army press release, the enthusiasm shown by all especially the children was ‘unimaginable’ and all of them ‘voluntarily’ participated in these games.

The press release reads that, “100 children had participated in games like sack race, jalebi race, Kho Kho, snow creativity and other creative events, where winners were awarded with stationary items like pencil box,sketch colour box and notebooks as prizes.”

The event, as per the army was appreciated by all the villagers and locals.

An official said that this type of activity help them to make their relationship strong with Awam and helps them to connect with awam stronger.

He said that “these events positively engage the youth and direct their youthful energy in positive direction and ensure they don’t fall prey to calls of the alienation.”

“The platform is utilized to motivate the young minds for improving themselves and guiding them in utilising their time in constructive ways,” official said.
