Therefore, the Indian Army organised a Veterinary Camp for Gujjar and Bakarwal populace in Khawas Bowl of Rajouri district (J&K) under the flagship of Sadhbhavana projects. This camp was primarily organised keeping in view the large number of animals and cattle present in the area, and paucity of veterinary medical facilities to support them. Veterinary support to the livestock was provided in collaboration with civil veterinary doctors.  A total number of 1150 livestock were treated. The camp contributed enormously in helping the civilians in improving their livestocks as cattle rearing remains the primary occupation of the people in the area. The initiative taken by the Army was appreciated by one and all. The continuous and relentless effort of the Army towards the conduct of such camps has helped in establishing a good rapport between the Army and the Awaam.
