ADDL DY COMMR TRAL REVIEWS WINTER PREPAREDNESS

Tral: The Addl Deputy Commissioner Tral SY Naqash on Wednesday chaired a meeting of officers to review the arrangements put in place for approaching winters.

During the meeting, the Addl DC reviewed availability of Snow clearance machines, stock position, action plans prepared by the concerned departments framed to prevent interruption of services during the winter season.

S Y Naqash impressed upon the officers to ensure prompt response to the public grievances and ensure better coordination in dealing with Snow clearance operations and to maintain Health power and water supply besides other essential supplies to avoid any inconvenience to people.

The concerned officers from the Health, Power, R n B and Mechanical Engineering Department briefed the ADC about the action plan and availability of Snow clearance machines in the Sub District

The ADC directed for ensuring that Snow clearance machines are positioned at all critical spots to press them into process.

During the meeting, the ADC also reviewed preparations of KPDCL and availability of transformers in buffer stock.

The ADC sought inter-departmental coordination for effective response for any eventuality in the approaching winter season and exhorted that the reaction time should be prompt.
