Breast Cancer Awareness Programme Held At GDC Tral
Tral, 04 Oct: The ADC Tral S.Y. Naqash on Wednesday inaugurated Breast Cancer awareness programme at Govt Degree College (GDC) in Bajwani area of South Kashmir’s Tral.
The official said that the goal of breast health awareness is to educate women about the importance of diagnosing cancer at early stages when treatment is easier and outcome is better.
He further said that, advanced cancers demand more extensive therapies and are more likely to spread (metastasize) to other organs at which point they no longer can be cured.
“By following preventive guidelines, and being better informed about cancer, people can significantly reduce their health risk, and enjoy a healthy and happy life. An understanding of cancer also makes people better able to support those with the disease, as well as help people reduce risks to potentially prevent cancer,” the official said.
He further added that examination and mammography will earlier diagnosis the disease, “while we need to provide Social, mental and economic contribution.Let us join hands to create cancer free future.”
