BJP spokesman Altaf Thakur greets people on Baisakhi
Srinagar: Senior BJP leader and party’s JK spokesman Altaf Thakur extended his greetings to the Sikh community on the occasion of Baisakhi and expressed the hope that the festival will be celebrated in true spirit of the JK’s composite culture.
Highlighting the State’s glorious heritage of religious harmony and cultural diversity, Thakur assured the sikh community that BJP government is committed to adress the issues of this community and ensure the age old bond remains intact.
Baisakhi, also known as Vaisakhi, is a festival for the Sikh community, “and marks the beginning of the harvesting season.”
