10,000 cases sanctioned under BV-3, self employment scheme, economic package: LG Manoj Sinha
J&K Government has sanctioned 10,000 cases under back to Village-3, economic package and self-employment package, and Rs 100 crore has been disbursed for youth and women empowerment in UT of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to reports Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said this during a presser at Rajbhawan here.
He commended the role of J&K Bank and said it will continue to help youth in setting up their own business ventures through hand-holding and providing sanction reports on time.
The LG released Rs 250 crore to the J&K Bank and assured further disbursement of funds in a time-bound manner.
During the presser, LG also said his focus is on four P’s- Peace, Prosperity, Progress, and People.
“No more promises, only work. I am glad to see that development and prosperity are in full swing across UT. We will touch new heights,” he said .“Total of 15309 applications were received and promised and every pending case will be reviewed.”
He said two youth of each Panchayat have been provided with the financial assistance to start with their own ventures “11000 cases were received from the Panchayats alone,” he said, “This is just a beginning.
Government is committed to inspire youth to start their own ventures. There is no place of red-tapism now. I am committed to announce minimum Government and maximum Governance.”
He assured of fast track development,industrial growth, infra development, skill development.
LG also announced a mega youth convention titled “Youth Empowerment Society – Youth Engagement” on October 31 in J&K UT in which experts will counsel youth.
