World Health Day: IUST organises awareness programme

Pulwama: On the occasion of world health day, The IUST Awantipora organised awareness programme on 7th April at various hospitals of Kashmir.

Officials said that Syed Mantaqui Memorial College of nursing and medical technology along with Alamdar memorial college of nursing celebrated World health day 2023 at SKIMS Soura, IMHANS, SDH Bijbehara, SDH Pampore and SDH Tral with theme, health for all making the 75th anniversary of the world health organisation under the chair of Professor (A) Asmat Parveen, SMMCN&MT.

The event was organised by faculty members and students of B.Sc nursing 1st semester, 3rd semester and 3rd year. During the event student created awareness among the general public by delivering health talks on different topics.

The administration of hospitals appreciated the efforts put by the student’s in generating health awareness among the people.
