World Environment Day celebrated in Khrew Pampore

Pampore: On the occasion of World Environment Day, an awareness rally was taken out in Khrew area of Pampore in South Kashmir, which was attended by a large number of students from different schools.

The rally was conducted by Peoples Welfare Trust Khrew, with the motive to spread message, among people, about the role of environment in healthy living.

On the occasion, the participants marched on the roads of Khrew town, and chanted pro-environmental slogans by taking placards in their hands.

They appealed people of the area to keep their surroundings, water-bodies neat and clean, and plant more and more trees for the betterment of environment.
