Work on AIIMS in Awantipora would be completed till 2024: Hasnain Masoodi

Awantipora: Member of Parliament (MP), Retired Justice, Hasnain Masoodi along with other officers visited AIIMS Awantipora on Thursday to take stock of the ongoing work on the institute, and hoped that project would be completed till 2024.
During his visit, he met the engineers and other concerned, where he had a conversation with them, pertaining to the status of work.
Talking to the media, Hasnain Masoodi said that work on AIIMS was earlier delayed due to some issues.
He said that he “discussed the issue accordingly with the defence minister, following which work has been started again.”
The MP hoped that project of ‘1800 crore’ would be completed till 2024, with ‘750 beds’ and may fulfill the needs of people in Kashmir.
He added that this project would mitigate the pressure on SKIMS Srinagar, and would cater the medical students as well.
