Woman injured in Bear Attack at Gong Tral

Pulwama: A woman was attacked and injured on Saturday evening by a bear in Gong area of South Kashmir’s Tral sub district.
As per the official sources, the woman identified as Parveena Akhter, wife of Irshad Ahmad Bhat was attacked by a black bear near paddy fields in her native village at Gong Tral.
They said that injured woman was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Tral for treatment.
It is pertinent to mention here that several bear attacks have been reported so far in Tral sub district in the current month (September).
