Woman, 35, injured in bear attack in Ganderbal’s Kangan

Gandebal, Sep 14 : A woman was injured when a wild bear attacked her in Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal on Tuesday afternoon.

An official told local news agency that the woman (35), identified as Shaheena Begum wife of Jan Mohammad Mir of Kangan was injured when the bear attacked her in the fields near Power House Kangan.

He said that she was rushed to Trauma hospital Kangan for initial treatment, where from she was referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment.
