“Western Disturbance Brings Cloudy Weather to Jammu and Kashmir Today”

Cloudy weather is on the horizon for Jammu and Kashmir today, owing to the influence of a Western Disturbance. Some parts of Jammu region may experience rain showers in the late afternoon, which may then spread to areas of south Kashmir during the evening. Additionally, there is a chance of a spell of rain over central Kashmir (50% chance) and north Kashmir (30% chance) in the evening.
A few spots in south Kashmir may even see showers around 2:00 p.m.

Continuous rainfall is unlikely, but rain showers are expected to continue until Thursday. There is a possibility of heavy showers (40% chance) in some areas of Jammu region from Wednesday evening to early Thursday morning.

● Possibility of gusty winds, hailstorms, and intense showers will remain there on all the days.

● Anticipate a significant drop in day temperatures, remaining below the average range.

● Shooting stones/landslides can occur along Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

● There is a possibility of light snowfall in the higher reaches, particularly in the elevated areas of the Pir Panjal Range.
