Three soldiers, civilian injured in pre dawn encounter in Baramulla: IGP Kashmir

Baramulla, Apr 21 : Three soldiers were injured during an encounter that broke out between militants and security forces in a village in Baramulla district in the wee hours today, police said here.

Quoting IGP, Kashmir zone police in a Tweet informed that the exact location of the encounter is Malwah and said that 3 soldiers received minor injuries in the initial exchange of fire.

“Exact location of #encounter is #Malwah area. In the initial exchange of fire, 03 #soldiers recieved minor injuries. #Operation in progress. Further details shall follow,” police Tweeted.

Earlier, an encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Malwag village of Baramulla district.

An official said that the exchange of firing was going on when the reports last came in and further details will be shared accordingly.
