Three militant hideout busted in Tral, Awantipora: Police

Awantipora police Friday said to have busted three hideouts in Tral forests and incriminating material has been recovered from the hideouts.
According to a statement issued, ‘based on specific information regarding Militants of Jaish-e-Mohammad in Buchoo/Kamla forests of Tral area,Police with Army launched a search operation today early morning and during search three hideouts of the JeM were busted and subsequently destroyed. Each hideout seems roughly 5 ft × 4ft ×4 ft and were in the axis of the Kamla forests Tral.
The incriminating material of the proscribed outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad has been recovered from the said destroyed hideout along with the material that seems to be IED material. All the material
has been taken into Police custody for investigation purpose.
Case FIR number 78/2020 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Tral.
