Anantnag: In a concerning trend, two Government High Schools and one Government Higher Secondary School (HSS) in Anantnag district have recorded below 30% pass percentage in the recently declared Class 10th results by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE). The overall pass percentage across the Kashmir Division stood at 79.25%, highlighting the underperformance of these particular institutions.

The government schools with notably poor results include:

  • Government High School Kapran: Out of 49 students who appeared, only 13 passed, resulting in a 26.53% pass rate.
