Tens of thousands of people offered funeral prayer of Noted Islamic Scholar Maulana Noor Ahmad Trali

Tral, 11 Dec: Tens of thousands of people attended the funeral prayer of a Noted Islamic Scholar Maulana Noor Ahmad Trali in Tral sub-district of South Kashmir on Friday morning.

Maulana Noor Ahmad Trali, Chairman Darul Uloom Noor Ul Islam, and Madrasa Taleem Ul Islam Tral, breathed his last at a hospital in Srinagar after a brief illness.

Soon after his body reached his native place, scores of people from various parts of Tral & other places of Kashmir participated in the final rites and offered funeral prayers of the deceased scholar, at the premises of Darul Uloom Noor Ul Islam Tral, which was led by Maulana RehmatUllah Qasmi of Darul Uloom Bandipora.

Meanwhile, various religious, social, and political organizations have condoled the demise of Maulana Trali and called it a big loss for Muslim Ummah in Jammu & Kashmir.

Members of the Gujjar and Sikh community also participated in the funeral prayer of Maulana Trali Sahab and said that Trali always played a vital role in maintaining the communal harmony here.

A Gujjar activist, Mohammad Ibraham Trali has condoled the demise and said that Maulana Noor Ahmad Trali’s death is a big loss, “as he admitted a large number of Gujjar kids from J&K in his Darul Uloom to impart religious education among them.”

He said that his teachings will never be forgotten and prayed that Almighty Allah grants the deceased the highest place in Jannah.

Mufti Aabid Sahab of Darul Uloom expressed grief over the demise of Maulana Noor Ahmad Trali and said that Maulana’s death has left a void in Kashmir which is very difficult to fill now.

He said that Maulana Sahab was an outspoken preacher, who used to give straight and authentic speeches all the time, and would mostly focus on spreading the main aspects of Islam among the people.

It is pertinent to mention here that on social media, people across Kashmir have been condoling the demise of Maulana Noor Ahmad Trali and have been praying for his soul since yesternight.
