Srinagar May 17 : State Investigation Agency (SIA) launched a major crackdown in the Kashmir Valley, raiding the homes of eleven suspected terror associates and Over Ground Workers (OGWs) in various districts. The operation covered Srinagar, Ganderbal, Baramulla, Sopore, Kupwara, and Handwara.

Carried out under court authorization and the supervision of Executive Magistrates, these raids were part of an ongoing effort to dismantle terror networks active in the region. Officials suspect the individuals targeted were in close contact with terrorists based in Pakistan, supporting their operations in the valley.

The operation is continuing, with security forces thoroughly searching for evidence and suspects. Authorities have stressed that such firm measures are essential to uproot terrorism and restore peace in Jammu and Kashmir.(KNS)
