SIA attaches 2 more properties of banned JeI in Budgam

Budgam, Dec 24 : State Investigation Agency on the directions of District Magistrate Budgam attaches two more properties of banned Jama’at-e-Islami J&K in central Kashmir’s Budgam, officials said on Saturday.

By the orders of DM Budgam, the property of Jama’at-e-Islami J&K (notified as unlawful association) falling in village Magam Budgam under Survey No. 2023 (3 storied shopping complex namely Madina Complex constructed overland measuring 3 Marlas has been notified under Sec 8 of UA(P) Act in case FIR No. 17/2019 u/s 10, 11, 13 UA(P) of PS Batamaloo, has been attached by the agency, officials told KNS.

Besides, another property under Survey No. 874/591 constructed on land measuring 6 Marlas has been notified under Sec 8 of UA(P) Act in case FIR No. 17/2019 u/s 10, 11, 13 UA(P) Act of PS Batamaloo.
Pertinently, on the recommendations of SIA, the District Magistrates of Shopian, Ananatnag, Srinagar, Kupwara, Baramullah had also orders of attachment of properties of banned Jama’at-e-Islami J&K few days ago.
