Shailendra Kumar Assigned Additional Charge of Finance Department in J&K

Srinagar, May 20: The Jammu and Kashmir administration has assigned the additional charge of the Finance Department to senior IAS officer Shailendra Kumar during the leave period of Santosh Dattatraya Vaidya.

According to Government Order No. 603-JK(GAD) of 2025 issued by the General Administration Department on May 20, 2025, Shailendra Kumar, IAS (AGMUT: 1995), currently serving as Principal Secretary to the Government, Agriculture Production Department—and also holding the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Department of Floriculture, Parks and Gardens—will now also look after the post of Administrative Secretary, Finance Department.

The order states that the decision was taken “in the interest of administration” and will be effective during the leave period of Shri Santosh Dattatraya Vaidya, IAS (AGMUT: 1998).
