Security forces launched CASO in Srinagar

Government forces launched a cordon and search operation(CASO) in Shaheed Gunj, area Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.

A police officer told the local news agency that a CASO was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area by a joint team of government forces.

Sources told that a heavy contingent of security forces was witnessed in the area and house to house searches were on till this report was last filled.
