Schools, colleges re-open in Kashmir after winter vacations in valley
The valley roads were thronged with school buses arriving from early morning to pick school children from their respective stops. The schools and colleges re-opened in Kashmir valley on Monday after three-month-long winter break. The schools were scheduled to re-open on March 4, but the vacations were extended by the divisional administration citing inclement weather.
The winter vacation for students up to class 8 started from December 6, 2018 while the vacation for students of class 9 onwards started from December 17, 2018.
