Rs. 85,000 fine imposed on erring traders at Pulwama

PULWAMA, MARCH 24: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Pulwama Altaf Ahamed Khan who is also the Adjudicating Officer today imposed fine of Rs 85,000 on four food business operators shopkeepers, traders and wholesale dealers for violation of various provisions of the Food Safety and Standards Act (FS&SA) in the district.

The fine was imposed on the erring traders, during the proceeding of cases of various blocks of district Pulwama related to the violation of Food Safety & Standards Act listed before the adjudicating officer.

ADC warned traders/Shopkeepers to abide by the legal regulations besides providing qualitative services to the people.

Pertinently, Rs 3, 85,000 has been imposed as fine on various erring traders during the month (PR).
