Road restoration in full swing across Doda post rainfall

The restoration of roads disrupted following torrential rains is in full swing across Doda district, even as Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Sagar D Doifode, has asked the concerned departments to open all inner links within 24 hours.

The DC has asked executing agencies to treat the matter as most urgent and fast track the restoration of the disrupted roads to avoid inconvenience to the people.

As per reports, several roads have been made operational while the restoration process is going on various other roads across the district.

According to the PMGSY department, 11 road links against total 13 have been fully or partially restored in Sub Division Bhagwah (Doda), while restoration work is in full swing on the left out roads

Similarly, six roads are open for traffic in Sub Division Assar (Doda) and restoration work is in process on two other roads.
