Possibility of assembly election in J&K by year end: Rajnath Singh
Srinagar, June17 : Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday said that there is a possibility that Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections can be held by the end of this year.
While speaking in Jammu, Singh said that there is a strong possibility that the electoral process will commence by the end of this year in J&K.
He said that recently the delimitation exercise concluded in J&K and now Jammu will have 43 seats & Kashmir will have 47 seats in the Vidhan Sabha.
Singh further said that the neighbouring country is sowing seeds of hatred and there’s foreign conspiracy in the recent targeted killings in J&K.
He said that they won’t let happen forceful migration of any person from any religion or section
Notably, Singh is in Jammu and Kashmir since yesterday for a two-day visit to the Union Territory.
