Policeman Killed in a Truck-Bike Collision in Budgam’s Soibugh Area

Date: May 30, 2023 : In a tragic incident in the Soibugh area of Budgam district in Central Kashmir, a police constable lost his life after the bike he was driving was hit by a truck. The collision occurred, leaving the biker seriously injured, and despite efforts to save him, doctors declared him brought dead at the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Ishfaq Majeed, a resident of Paimus village in Budgam. Ishfaq Majeed served as a police constable and was on duty at the time of the accident.

According to sources, an LP Truck with registration number JK015A-7018 collided with the motorcycle, resulting in the fatal injuries. Following the incident, the police have taken cognizance of the matter and registered a case under the relevant sections of the law.

The authorities have also taken swift action, arresting the truck driver involved in the collision. The truck has been seized as part of the investigation.
