Police Arrests Drug Peddler In Srinagar, Recover Contraband Substance

Srinagar, Dec 10: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested a drug peddler in Srinagar and recovered contraband substance from his possession.

A Police party of Police Station Nawhatta during Naka checking near Islamia College apprehended an individual under suspicious circumstances. The suspected person has been identified as Haris Farooq son of Farooq Ahmad resident of Hakabazar Badamwari. During the search, SpasmoProxyvon capsules have been recovered from his possession.

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 56/2024 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Nowhatta and further investigation has been initiated.
