PAGD wins chairperson, VC posts of DDC Pulwama, Ganderbal

People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration  (PAGD) today bagged Chairman and Vice-Chairman post today in Development Council elections of Pulwama and Ganderbal.

Sources said that Bari Andrabi of PDP was elected as chairperson of DDC Pulwama after he secured 9 votes during the election meeting held here.

They said that Mukhtar Ahmad Bandh of NC was elected as vice-chairperson after he secured 9 votes against his rival candidate.

Earlier, the election meeting of all the elected DDC members of Pulwama was called by district election officer Pulwama to elect chairperson and vice-chairperson for the district.
Similarly in Ganderbal the  PAGS won the chairperson and vice-chairperson posts of the district development council.

Sources said that Nuzhat Ishfaq of the National Conference was elected as chairperson of DDC Ganderbal after she got 9 votes during the election meeting.

They said that the vice-chairperson post was bagged by the PDP after its candidate Bilal Ahmad secured 8 votes.

Earlier, an election meeting of the elected DDC members was called today to elect the chairperson and vice-chairperson for DDC Ganderbal. (KNS)
