Noted trade unionist Sampat Prakash no more

Srinagar, July 01: Sampat Prakash, an eminent Kashmiri Pandit and noted trade unionist, passed away on Saturday afternoon in Srinagar due to cardiac arrest. It has been  learnt that Sampat Prakash experienced a severe cardiac arrest, leading to his immediate transfer to SKIMS Soura Hospital. However, doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival.

Meanwhile, the body of the deceased was handed over to his family members for last rites.(KNS).
