NMOPS Nominate two Trade Union leaders as UT Spokesperson, Provincial Sr Vice President
Srinager October 28: The National Movement For Old Pension Scheme (NMOPS) Jammu & Kashmir Unit has appointed two office Bearers from different Organization In NMOPS. Mr Irfan Nazir has been nominated as UT Spokesperson NMOPS, while Mr Tahir Ahmed Sofi has been nominated as Provincial Senior Vice President NMOPS Kashmir.
Pertinently National Movement For old Pension (NMOPS) is a national level banner of employees and amalgam of various trades Union, who are yet working under New Pension Scheme (NPS), NMOPS, headed by its National President Vijay kumar Bandhu is demanding restoration of old Pension Scheme (OPS) for NPS employees of the country.
“All the members shall spearhead the movement for restoration of Old Pension Scheme (OPS) and abolition of New Pension Scheme (NPS) by spreading the drawbacks of NPS and benefits of OPS”, the NMOPS document of appointment reads.
Meanwhile UT President NMOPS-J&K Mohammad Ashraf have appealed all the NPS employees of Jammu and Kashmir to support the cause and join hands with them in order to strengthen the voice for restoration of Old Pension Scheme for employees.
Further he congrulates all the newly appointed portfolio holders and hoped that they all would work diligently for the restoration of old pension.
