NC’s Imran Shah calls for rehabilitation of Taxi Stand
Lauds DC Anantnag's efforts for a jam-free city
ANANTNAG, August 06: Calling for the early rehabilitation of Mehandi Kadal Sumo & Taxi Stand No. 1 to a suitable and accessible location within the vicinity of Anantnag town, NC leader Imran Shah emphasized the need to protect the livelihood of drivers affected by the stand’s relocation.
He urged the District Administration to ensure that traffic within the town limits remains smooth and congestion-free.
While lauding the efforts of the Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag, for working toward a jam-free city, Shah noted that these efforts are commendable.
However, he stressed the importance of considering the long-standing registration of the Sumo Stand. Shah warned that decisions influenced by political pressure or favoritism would only aggravate the situation, asserting that all parties should be treated equally under the law.
