NC remembers Sher eKashmir on his 119th birth anniversary

Srinagar, Dec 05 : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, led the party functionaries in offering floral tributes and Fatiha at the Qaid Mazar, Naseem Bagh Hazratbal on the 119th birth anniversary of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah.

The main commemorative function took place at his mausoleum, Qaid Mazar Naseem Bagh in Srinagar.

Dr Farooq and Omar Abdullah led the party functionaries and people from various backgrounds in offering Fatiha and tributes at the mausoleum of the legendary leader. Among party leaders, cabinet ministers including Sakina Itoo, Javed Dar, Satish Sharma, Advisor to HCM Nasir Aslam Wani, MLA’s also offered floral tributes to late Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah.

Similar commemorative functions were also held at the provincial headquarters Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu, and all district headquarters across Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh. Later, a majlis of Quran Khawani was held at the Tasbeeh Khana.
