Ministers’ Roster Issued for May at Civil Secretariat, Jammu

Jammu, May 4: The General Administration Department (GAD) of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a roster of ministers and advisors for the month of May 2026 to remain available at the Civil Secretariat, Jammu.

According to Government Order No. 860-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated May 4, the designated ministers will be present in Jammu on a rotational basis to ensure administrative accessibility and smooth functioning of governance.

As per the schedule, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary will be available from May 4 to May 8. This will be followed by Minister for Health, Education, and Social Welfare Sakeena Masood (Itoo) from May 11 to May 15.

Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani has been assigned duty from May 18 to May 22, while Minister for Agriculture, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, and allied departments Javid Ahmad Dar will be available from May 25 to May 29.

The order, issued by Commissioner/Secretary to the Government M. Raju (IAS), has been circulated to all concerned departments and administrative authorities for compliance.

The move aims to maintain continuity in governance and ensure that administrative services remain accessible in Jammu during the specified period.
