Man shot in Nowpora Tral

Unknown gunmen fired upon a person in Nowpora area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on late Wednesday evening. Unidentified gunmen fired upon Lateef Ahmad Ganie(35) son of Mohammad Jabbar Ganie in Nowpora Tral, resulting in injuries to him. Lateef, who has suffered injuries in his legs, was rushed to the nearby hospital for treatment where from he was referred to Srinagar for advanced treatment. Sources said that soon after the incident the government forces cordoned off the area.
