Man killed, 3 others injured in Pattan road accident
Pattan, Apr 30: A man was killed, while 3 others were injured when a speedy tipper collided with a private vehicle in Hanjiwera area of Pattan in Baramulla district on Saturday evening.
An official said the speedy tipper collided with a Maruti 800 vehicle on National highway near Hanjiwera.
He said that soon after the incident, locals rushed the injured to Trauma hospital Pattan, where doctors declared one of the injured persons as dead on arrival.
He identified the deceased as Mohammad Amin wani son of Abdul Aziz Wani of Zachaldara area of Kupwara and injured were identified Shafeeqa Begum, Abdul Qayoom Peer and Mohmmad Shafi.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the matter and have registered a case in this regard.
