Ladakh Admin Assigns Key Departments To Two IAS Officers

LEH, Apr 6: The Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh has issued orders allocating departments to two IAS officers, Shurbir Singh and Nitish Rajora, with immediate effect.
As per an order, Shurbir Singh, 2004 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer, has been assigned the Revenue Department, Public Health Engineering and Irrigation & Flood Control, and Housing & Urban Development Department. He has also been given the additional charge of Divisional Commissioner.
Another order said that Nitish Rajora, the 2021 batch AGMUT Cadre IAS officer, has been posted as Commissioner, State Taxes and Excise. He will also hold the additional charge of Director, Accounts & Treasuries, and Director, Housing & Urban Local Bodies.
