Kokernag Encounter day 04: Search operation resumes amid Addl reinforcement of forces to track down militants

Srinagar, Aug 13  :- Anantnag: The search operation in the Ahlan forests of Kokernag, Anantnag, has resumed on the fourth day, with additional reinforcements of security forces deployed to track down the militants, official sources reported on Tuesday.

The operation initially began on Saturday when an encounter broke out between militants and security forces in the dense forest area of Ahlan, Kokernag. During the initial exchange of gunfire, two soldiers and a civilian tragically lost their lives.
