JKPCC President Karra Calls Emergency Meet to Discuss NC Invitation, Rajya Sabha Polls
Srinagar, Oct 22 : Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president Tariq Hamid Karra has called an emergency meeting of party legislators this afternoon to discuss the National Conference’s invitation for a joint session of ruling alliance lawmakers.
The meeting, scheduled at 4:30 PM under Karra’s chairmanship, will focus on the Rajya Sabha elections, recent political developments, by-polls, and the party’s strategy for the upcoming Assembly session.
Karra said, “We have convened this meeting to review developments related to Rajya Sabha polls, by-elections, and Assembly proceedings. We will also discuss our role in forthcoming political events. Outcomes will be shared with the media.”
Bandipora MLA and Congress Chief Whip Nizamuddin Bhat added that feedback from legislators would be conveyed to the party high command before deciding on the NC invitation.(KNS)
