J&K Legislative Assembly Summoned to Meet on April 28

Jammu/Srinagar, April 25: The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, has summoned the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly to convene in Jammu on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 10:30 AM.

According to the order, a copy of which lies with Arising State, the summon has been issued under Section 18(1) of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act, 2019. Exercising his powers under the Act, the Lieutenant Governor has called upon all Hon’ble Members of the Legislative Assembly to attend the session at the appointed date, time, and venue.

The session will be conducted in accordance with Rule 3 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly.

The Secretariat has also circulated copies of the order to key officials including the Chief Secretary, Financial Commissioners, Principal Accountant General, Director General of Police, and others for necessary action.
