Indian Army organises medical, veterinary camp in Tral
Pulwama: Indian Army along with Sheep Husbandry Dept Sub Dist Tral organized medical cum veterinary camp in village Satura, Tral dist Pulwama.
Medical cum veterinary camp was conducted under the aegis of HQ 1 Sec RR(42 RR Bn). The camp was organised at Satura cricket ground, Tral.
The camp saw the participation of 03 Vet doctors and RMO 42 RR. More than 250 persons including women, the elderly, and children, besides more than 100 animals received treatment from the medical team. Additionally free medicines were provied to patients and animals.
An official has said that the Joint efforts of the Indian Army and civilian doctors ensured that all patients received health checkup and consultation, while the initiative reflects the Indian Army unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people.
He said that the local villagers expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the army for organizing this medical cum veterinary camp.
