Two government schools in Anantnag have zero pass percentage,Parents aghast: Anantnag

Anantnag 26 February: In Anantnag, not a single student has passed in two of the government high schools of class 10th after the results of the said class was declared early morning today in the Kashmir division.
These two government schools in Anantnag, one Government High School Magraypora Achabal, Anantnag only 10 candidates appeared in class 10th exam. Not a single student has passed in the class 10th and another school namely Govt high school wantrag Mattan Anantnag, 23 students appeared in the examination ,again not a single student passed even after 50% relaxation given by the authorities in syllabus due to covid 19 lockdown.
Talking to Arising state the parents of some of the students said that not a single student of the two government schools passed the 10th class exam.’The teachers are not showing any concern over the poor performance of the students. They don’t do justice with their job. We lack proper teaching staff in the school. The schools have shown poor performance, but the authorities in the department don’t pay any heed to it,” said one of the parents.
Meanwhile, talking to the Arising state, Deputy CEO Anantnag Mushtaq Ahmad said that it is very unfortunate that our two government schools got zero percent result in class 10th exam, there was an adequate teaching staff in both schools. He said,”we are waiting for the directions from the higher authorities as to what action will be taken against the staff in the two schools”.
Arising state also tried to contact the CEO Anantnag, Rub Shad, but he didn’t pick up the call.
