Grenade attack in Anantnag ,CRPF man injured

Srinagar, Dec 17: A CRPF man was injured in a grenade attack in Bijbehara town of Anantnag district on Thursday, officials said.

They said that militants hurled a  grenade on security forces near Bijbehara hospital leaving a CRPF man injured. “The injured CRPF man was shifted to SDH Bijbehara where his condition is said to be stable”.

The injured cop has been identified as Patil Parmakar of 40 BN CRPF.

Meanwhile, the entire area has been cordoned off and a massive search operation has been launched to nab the attackers.
