Govt. constitutes committee for preparing proposal of relief, revival of business in J&K
Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday constituted a five-member committee for preparing a proposal for relief and revival of the business sector in Jammu and Kashmir.
An order issued by Additional Secretary to the Government under No. 767-JK(GAD) of 2020 dated 18.08.2020 reads, “Sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of a Committee for relief and revival of the business sector in Jammu and Kashmir. The members of the Committee includes (1) Mr. KK Sharma, Advisor(s) to Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor, (2) Financial Commissioner, Finance Department, (3) Commissioner/Secretary, Industries & Commerce Department, (4) Commissioner/Secretary, Tourism Department, and (5) Chairman/Managing Director, J&K Bank”.
“The Committee shall hold detailed consultations with various business associations relating to different sectors of the J&K economy and submit a consolidated proposal by 01.09.2020, for consideration of the Government both at Union Territory level and at the Central level.
